The fifth business advice- take steps

 Business is the road to wealth. You know this road. You have heard about it. It is no stranger to you. Some may choose not to ply this road. It does not interest them. Or, they may choose alternatives. After all, there are usually many ways to achieve an objective. But not you, you are not among those that does not want to ply this road. Infact you want to ply this road. 

You developed this desire a long time ago. Some desires easily fade. A man may want to do something today, but tomorrow he no longer wants to commit to it. Their are likely some of your desires that have faded; goals that you no longer want to achieve. You developed the desire to, and wanted to achieve them, but within a short time, the desire faded. Because your interest faded, you didn't pursue them. This very desire of yours to pursue business is not like such ones. For such a long time after you conceived it, your desire to achieve it has still not faded. Instead it keeps on waxing stronger and stronger.  You are not without a doubt that you want to pursue business. 

It is your goal. Infact you just cannot wait to own a business. Your hope is very high, you wish that your dream comes to pass. 

At this point, you are an aspirant. We cannot consider you a business man, because you aspire to be, because you have not established yourself as one. You are not the first person to aspire to own a business. Many others have. In the past, very many were like that. History records, consists of examples of many like that. Numerous people once shared your dream. Since it is not a field that is new, then many obviously aspired to trade it. The benefits they would derive from it, was likely very tempting to them. 

                  ILLUSTRATION 

Two men; Williams and August desires to own a Car. No one has more desire than the other to own a Car. Their desire to own a Car were of equal level. And it was marked by eagerness that no one ever felt. In the morning they would dream about owning a Car. Talk about it with anyone they came in contact with.  By the day time they would often imagine theirselves riding one. And so did they continue for a long time. 

With the passage of time came an increase, in Williams desire. And he continued to hope that his dream would be fulfilled. Many in the past had hopes that came to pass. He based his hope on this. He believes that events would work out for his favour like it did for others. 

August on the other hand, also realized an increase in his desire. But he began to think critically about how to achieve his dream. He had waited for such a long time for his dream to come to pass to no avail. Is there anything he ought to do that he has not? He had fulfilled his dreams in the past. What could he learn from how he fulfilled them about how to fulfil his current goal? The last time he took the steps to secure money and purchase a product. Until he took that step he never realized it even though it was a dream he wanted to achieve. This very fact told him that if he never took steps he may never own a Car, no matter how much he continued to hope. That was exactly what he determined to do. 

August had always been working to make money, but this time, he took 'extra steps' to secure more  money than he had ever realized, and within a short time, the money he was making added up quickly and he was able to purchase a Car with it.

No matter how much Williams hoped and waited his dream never came to pass. He never took steps to raise money and own a Car, and no one since no one gifted him one, he never secured a Car.

The case of August clearly illustrates that the achievement of every objective requires step. Success in achieving an objective does not come about by chance.

    MORAL FOR BUSINESS STARTER

 And what a powerful lesson the person desiring to start business can learn from the story. At this point you are an aspirant; you want to pursue business. Learn that like Williams if you do not take steps to start a business, your dream would never come to pass. Business formation is something that never occurs until the steps to create them are taken. Business is a man-made entity. Like all man-made entities, they owe their existence to man. If you do not gear efforts towards their creation, they do not come to pass. 

It is wisdom on your part to embrace the formation steps of the business you aspire to start, and achieve your dream. Otherwise you would be like a man that has the solution to his problem but does not apply it. But instead continues to wish that his problem becomes solved.

 Business formation has requirements and processes. They differ depending on the business structure, location and niche. Whenever the step to forge a certain business is taken, the formation usually occurs. But if the step are not taken, the establishment does not come to pass. 

You want to start a bakery business. Learned on the requirement, but you do not take steps to, how could the business being itself to birth?

We can consider the requirements and processes to be keys that are used to achieve business creation. If the key is not always effective; if their are times when the keys does not prove effective- when some took the particular business steps necessary but did not achieve business creation. Then, you would have doubts and a reason not to take steps. But the steps always leads to formation. You must have discovered those who took them and succeeded in creating business. So, you would have no doubt as to the efficacy of the key, nothing withholds you from taking steps. 

Take photography as an example of business you may want to start. If you want to start it on a small scale you require a Camera, which you would use to take photographs and record videos. You also need Computer for editing. You also need a printer for printing the photos you snap. Since you need those you must buy them. You would need to make a business plan. Including those concerns and how to secure capital for the business. When you secure everything, you would need to obtain permits or papers. When you take those steps, you would certainly achieve the formation of a photography business. So nothing at all should stop you from embracing formation steps if it would lead to formation of business.

You would need to take steps not only when you want to start a business. There is always something the business wants to achieve, a goal they have. It could be the increase of their capital, through securement of loan, or increase in production, which is capable of enhancing revenue. It could be settlement of debts. It could be the rent of office or the expansion of company. To achieve any of those, or any of the organizations goal, the organization must take practical steps, which would lead to the achievement. As there are steps for fulfilling every objective, you have to learn the step needed to achieve your particular objective. You could learn from counsellors or those who have achieved what you want. Only if you know steps can you take them, and this makes knowledge important to you. 

Know also that not all steps lead to goal achievement. Only the right steps are always efficacious. Steps are like formulas. The correct formula leads to solution, but the wrong is always inefficacious. Taking them at the right time is also good. An assign only capable ones to take each steps. By taking the right steps, at the right time, you can surely achieve your business dream
